You can hand someone a link to a route and they'll see it exactly as it stands — every stop, in order, on the map. The link is view-only: they can look, and they can take their own copy, but they can't change yours.

Send the link

The link is the same on both clients. Only the gesture differs.

In the panel under the route, choose Copy share link. The link goes to your clipboard and you paste it wherever you like.

What the other person can and can't do

They see the route read-only, under a note reading Shared routes are now view-only.

They can look at everything — the stop list, the order, the map, the timings.
They can take their own copy with Copy to my account. That creates a separate route in their account which they can edit and drive freely. Yours is untouched, and later changes to yours don't reach their copy.
They cannot drive your route. The whole drive-and-optimize panel is replaced by the copy button on a shared route, so there's no Drive to press.

That last one is the most common surprise. If you want someone to actually work the route rather than look at it, they need it in their own account — tell them to press Copy to my account first.

"Access Disallowed"

If the link opens on a page headed Access Disallowed, the route hasn't been shared with you — or the link points at a route that no longer exists. Nothing is wrong with your account, and there's nothing you can do from your side: the owner has to send a share link.

The phone app also lands here if you open a route you're not connected to, and it clears the route it had been remembering, so you aren't stuck on that screen. Press Go to Main Page to get back.

If you're the owner and someone tells you they hit this, send them a fresh link:

Open the route, then use Copy share link in the panel underneath it and send them what it copies. (The in-app help calls this "Copy Link" — it's the same button.)

Once they have the link they can view the route and copy it to their account.
