COOKIE POLICY

This policy explains how cookies and similar storage (like localStorage) are used across Routerra's web properties: our marketing site (routerra.io) and our web application (app.routerra.io). Our mobile apps use no cookies — they run on device-level SDKs instead, which are covered in our Privacy Policy, not here.
1. Marketing site (routerra.io)
We do not show a cookie banner on the marketing site, because nothing non-essential runs until you take an action that requires it. There are no advertising pixels anywhere on the site. Here is everything that can run and what it does:

No advertising pixels, no cookie banner: we don't run anything non-essential before you act, so there is nothing that requires a consent banner on this site.
2. Web app (app.routerra.io)
The web app uses a three-category consent model. You choose what runs beyond what's essential:
- Essential: Clerk authentication cookies and your session. These are always on — the app can't sign you in or keep you signed in without them.
- Analytics: PostHog and Sentry, including masked session replay. These only start after you consent. If you withdraw consent, Sentry stops immediately and PostHog stops collecting from your next visit.
- Support: Tawk.to live chat, tied to your account identity so support can help you faster. Only runs after you consent.
You choose your categories in the consent banner the first time you visit, and you can change them anytime from Cookie Preferences in Settings. Your choice is saved in your browser's localStorage and stays in effect until you change it.
